"I've nearly beaten my high score ..... !"

Hi everyone and a very warm welcome to Tee who is my newest follower!

Wow it seems ages since I last posted and this one should have been up last week - apologies for the delay. I always think I'm in control towards the end of the summer term and then I usually get several curved balls slung at me all at the same time. Well, this year is no exception and time just seems to be totally running away with me! I'm just hoping that one of them doesn't fall out of the sky and clobber me :o) !!!

Anyway, our challenge this time at Incy Wincy Designs is Fancy Folds, where we're looking for your cards that have more than one fold, and the fancier the better!

As usual we've got a couple of great sponsors with amazing prizes up for grabs!

Our first sponsor is Craft Classes Online who are offering our first lucky prize winner 1 seat in an online class of your choice.

Craft Classes Online (CCO) brings multiple Creative Arts Instructors together on one site to provide students with the best choice in online craft workshops. Our instructors offer online workshops that are engaging, affordable, and time-saving. Students from across the globe can learn any number of techniques and creative projects from the comfort of their home and on their schedule.

Make sure to check out our blog, Everyday Moodlings, which offers a theme of the week and challenges us to use all of our craft supplies during the coming year. We offer ideas, tips, tutorials, and crafty inspiration.

We are excited to be sponsoring Incy Wincy Challenge Blog. You can view our class list on our website at www.CraftClassesOnline.com[http://.]. We continuously update our website with new workshops, so check back often.

Become a subscriber to our newsletter and gain access to our FREE class, “Ink Essentials”! Come visit us on our Facebook page, too. One lucky winner will receive a free seat to an online workshop valued at $25 or less. Good Luck!

Our second sponsor is Brigzy and the team at Doctor Digi House of Stamps who are offering our second lucky prize winner 2 digital images of their choice.

DR Digi's House of stamps is a site that aims to bring you digi stamps with a sense of humour. We're not your average digi site, you wont find flowers and teddy bears.  Well you might.. but it'll be holding a bloody big chainsaw!

Dr Digi's have also been kind enough to give all the DT an image of their choice to showcase on their project with folds, so without further ado, here is my card:

My card recipe is as follows:

I hope I've inspired you to come over to Incy Wincy Designs and join in the fun with Fancy Folds but if you're lacking inspiration, please check out the wonderful array of makes by my clever teamies! This challenge ends on Saturday evening (UK time) and we'll be back with our next challenge on Monday.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:

Until next time, take care!

Happy Easter!

Good morning friends and a very Happy Easter to you! I hope the Easter bunny is very kind to you and yours, and there are lots of goodies for you all!

I'm scheduling this morning's post, so I do hope Mr Blogger is playing nicely - it's a while since I last did this, but he's going to have to get used to it as all my Monday DT posts will be scheduled ... posting at 8am on a school day is just NOT going to happen in my house without his help!!!!! :o)

Anyway, I digress - Papa Mia asked me to make an Easter card for his mother. Regular readers may recall that she's a retired clergy wife, so fluffy, hoppy things are definitely not suitable! Traditional with a bible verse, if possible, are far more her style! So this is what I came up with.

My card recipe is as follows:

  • Card base - made from Centura Pearl Card in Ivory (I got mine from Crafter's Companion but
they don't seem to be stocking this at the mo) which I cut, scored and folded to make a 10.5 cm (when folded) square Spring Card
  • Papers - from the Vintage Floral Papercrafting CD-Rom
  • Image - is a Vintage Image by Paulette at Create with TLC and I think this one might have been a freebie on her blog a couple of years back. I wanted to leave the card quite plain, so I've coloured the crocuses quite lightly using my Spectrum Noir Pens in the following colours before cutting the image out close to the frame:
    • Crocuses - LV1, Blender Pen, GB5
    • Leaves - DG2, DG3, DG4
  • Sentiment - is also by Paulette at Create with TLC and this was a blog freebie a couple of weeks ago. I used my second smallest Die'sire Essentials Rectangles Die to cut this out.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Thank You!

Hi,

It's time for another challenge at The Crafty Pad; this week it's my Team A "teamie" Diane's turn to set the challenge and she is asking everyone to Use More than One Fold.  So, let your folding tools run riot in your craft room! Your creation could be gate fold, concertina, tri-shutter fold ... as long as it's got more than one fold we'd love to see it!

Our sponsors this week are the lovely girls at Joanna Sheen who are offering this week's lucky winner a £10 voucher to spend in their online store!!!!! And remember that they charge no postage and packing (apart from a few items unavailable to non UK customers) for any country in the world providing you spend a minimum of £9.

I've chosen a lovely Crafty Pad Designs image for my card as I'm trying to get ahead in doing "Thank You" cards for my girls' teachers! This Bookworm is perfect for the job!

My card recipe is as follows:
  • Base Card - made from Ivory Centura Pearl 300gsm Card which I cut, scored and folded to make a 10.5cm square (when flat) spring card
  • Design Papers - are Blue Damask  and Dots Paper, both from the set called The Best of Fall by Summer at Summertime Designs
  • Image - Bookworm Teacher Thank You is just one of the many fantastic images by Debbie at The Crafty Pad Designs and you can get your own copy by clicking here! I think this image is perfect for cards for all those male teachers out there. I brought this Bookworm to life using my Spectrum Noir Pens in the following colours:
    • Worm - FS2, FS3
    • Pencil - TN3, TN4, TN5, IG1
    • Apple - EB1, DG2, DG3
    • Book - EB1, EB2, JG6
    • Outline - IG1
As this card is for my youngest daughter's (male) class teacher I have deliberately used muted colours and left this card embellishment free. However, if this card was for a female teacher it could easily be embellished!

My card has 5 folds, but make sure this week's Guest Designer and my "Talented Teamies" have kept up with this week's challenge of Using More than One Fold by going over to The Crafty Pad and checking out their creations. Then see what you can make for this week's challenge and come back and show us! You've got until 8pm (BST) on Saturday 30th June 2012 to link your cards up.

With a little help from the girls at Feline Playful (thanks girls!), I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Have a great week!

Spring Flowers

This is my first post of the day - please scroll up or come back later for my next post!

Hi,

I'm having to schedule this post as the Easter holidays are now over, and I'm tending to the sick youngsters at school! I do hope Mr. Blogger is playing nicely today and posts this at the time I've requested! :o)

This is my third post as Guest Designer at Incy Wincy Designs and I'm loving seeing the projects you talented crafters are sharing! This week the challenge is Use a Digi and we have been sponsored by Delicious Doodles who kindly gave the DT a selection of Spring images to choose from. I had a really hard job selecting one image to use (honestly!) and this is the card I made:

My card recipe is as follows:
  • Base Card - 300gsm Centura Pearl Card in Ivory, which was cut, scored and folded to an 11cm Spring Card.
  • Design Paper - Flowers and Trees Paper from the Owl Always Love Spring collection by the talented Summer Driggs at Summertime Designs.
  • Image - Crocus by the wonderful Teri at Delicious Doodles. Do pop over to her site, as there are so many delicious images to make you open your purse! I brought the crocus to life using my Spectrum Noir Pens in the following shades:
    • Crocus - LV1, LV2, GB4
    • Leaves - CG1, CG2
    • Outline - GG1
I've deliberately left this card without a sentiment because, unusually for me, I haven't made it with a particular occasion in mind. However, I think it would make a great "Thank You", "Thinking of You" or "Get Well" card, as well as a lovely Birthday card.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Looking forward to seeing your Digis over at Incy Wincy this week. Hope you have a great week!
